A Very Special McGinty Christmas
T’was the week before Christmas, when all through the McGinty Dental Group,
Not a patient was stirring, not even the local Girl Scout troupe;
The stockings were hung by the dentist’s chair,
In hopes that Drs. McGinty & Schmidt would soon be there.
While Christmas is such a special time to rejoice,
Many underprivileged children aren’t given that choice;
Every child should have reason to smile you see,
When they find wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree.
To help where we could all did agree,
To give much needed toys to Community Ministry.
Away from the office our staff did dash,
Off to Target we rode in a flash;
There we found presents for both girls and boys,
Items we knew would bring much wonder and joy;
The staff at Target grinned as we went on our way,
Wishing us success with the rest of the journey.
Into the back of the doctors’ sleigh the gifts did go,
Back to the office to wrap them, Ho, Ho, Ho!
We sang Christmas carols, our hearts full of delight,
As we wrapped the toys in paper colored so bright;
Fully ready, it was time to deliver,
With much excitement we all did quiver.
Community Ministry is such a wonderful place,
We knew our gifts would bring smiles to many a face;
Drs. McGinty & Schmidt then sprang to their sleigh, to their team gave a whistle,
And away we all flew like the down of a thistle.
“Tis the season,” we shouted with all our might,
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!”
For the fifth year in a row, the staff at McGinty Dental is extremely proud to have participated in Community Ministry’s toy drive to help underprivileged children living in the Littleton, CO community. While our year-round goal is to bring great looking smiles to children’s faces, participating in the toy drive allows Drs. McGinty and Schmidt the opportunity to spread a little Christmas cheer, as well. We hope that all of our patients had a wonderful holiday, and that the New Year brings all of you something to smile about!
